Few words on result orientedness
I've noticed that when I chase outcomes only, I tend to start ignoring the the thing that is supposed to be fun: the process. Being over-focused on the results completely ruins the whole point of doing the thing in the first place. The grade, the offer, the launch -- is that the whole picture?
Of course, results matter, a lot in fact. But the irony is that people who genuinely enjoy the process often ends up having the better results anyway :).
